Clubman 40 design |

I would be great to get a banner and maybe stickers and t-shirts to commemorate this occasion.
Would anyone like to have a go at designing something for this purpose? One colour on white only please, to reduce cost.

Would suggest any design includes Mini 50 AND Clubman 40 as we don't want to be seen to be alienating ourselves !!

Yea that's true
NONE of this is intended in ANY way to overshadow the brilliance of Mini50 - just to celebrate Clubman40 alongside it

Paccar own the logo (Leyland Trucks) They are a big American company and I wouldn't expect much chasing from them to be honest. I have had no trouble. One
of the members spoke to a friend of the guy who actually designed it and he said he was sure the fella would be pleased to see it used in such a way.
We made sure BMW didnt own it, just in case.... |

(I've just edited the space to stop it from looking like I'm talking to myself)
I've had a play with it and made clubman 40 a bit bigger and moved the C a bit.

Good effort, Phil. Still not convinced about the "MINI 50" bit though and the copyright issue, although it is good to know about the Leyland symbol !

How about using a twist on the clubman estate badge on the back of the cars??
Example of badge on Ebay Could add a 40 to the end or something. I'm not any good with editing pics etc - An idea if someone fancies a go at it. |

Heres one more play with the leyland symbol, its what I was trying to do the first time buy I only just worked out how to do it

I also think the leyland badge doesn't sum up 'Clubman' - it's all Minis.
Personally I think the design ought to contain the following elements (would have been helpful if I'd worked this out earlier eh? ):
Something to represent 'Clubman' as distinct from Mini (and not nececsarily just the word) Something to recognise the dates 1969 to 2009 and the Clubman 40 Something to honour Mini 50 The last two do most of those 
I am thinking of opening this out as a competition once we have the goahead from the IMM...

Somebody mentioned it the other day, but I didnt have time to do it. Turns out doing it on paint took under a minute, so I would have had time!
