			<title><![CDATA[ Estate fuel delivery? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Have disconnected the fuel line where it comes into the engine compartment. When I do this in a short, fuel pours out of the line. With the CE....nothing. I
suspect that it&#39;s because of the low and flat orientation of the estate fuel tank (where the short one is higher and taller). Does anyone know for sure if
this is normal? Reason I ask is that the Estate has been difficult to start when it&#39;s been sitting for a while. Would be good to know if I have an
underlying issue contributing... ]]></description>

fairly high-spec 1380 with a HIF44 carb is going to be a thirsty little beast, no? So the mechanical fuel pump will have to go in favour of a low(ish) pressure
electrical pump (unless you think otherwise).

			<description><![CDATA[ I fitted my new twin box maniflow exhaust this weekend. LCB on etc. fitted everything up loosely and all is OK, But when bolting it up the back box touches the
spare wheel well in the boot floor. Is there a special centre bracket for fitting the maniflow exhaust? I&#39;ve improvised for now with a strap off the
original exhaust bolted to the mount and the new bracket, but it&#39;s making the middle hang down a bit low. I&#39;m using a standard RC40 type fitting kit

have made the mistake (financially) of visiting a local trim restorer and am now looking at getting a completely bespoke interior made! He can reuse the front
seats, but I could really do with some photos and measurements of the rear seat (base and back) so that he can make it from scratch - Can anyone help?

			<description><![CDATA[ Since my recent rebuild the temp dial has been reading hot. To start with I thought thats fine its probably just the increased friction while it runs in. Well
its run in and its still reading hot. If I take it on the motorway it will site just under the red and occasionally dip into the red going up big hills.

I am running without a bypass and have drilled my thermostate with about 6-8 2mm holes (in fact just remembered there is a photo from when i build the head up)

Well I am back in England for a couple of weeks and was hoping to try and sort a few issues on my CE. Chief among these is its poor running.

The engine has been transplanted from an &#39;89 Metro and runs fine at idle but will not rev past 2750-3000rpm. I have set the static timing at 8deg BTDC and
the carburettor is set to a good basic setting. All plugs and leads are in good condition as are the points, cap and arm.
